What is needed for pregnant women and new mothers is for others to really take time to listen to them so they can listen to themselves and find themselves. - Francoise Freedman Exploring your journey to birth, your journey post birth and your journey as mother. As a retired midwife and mother of 2, I know both professionally and personally how important it is for a mother to be held, to be loved, and to be listened to so that she can remember who she is. I've been there, and I have had the honour to sit with hundreds of women over the years so they too can listen and remember their own heart and mind and body. Your time with me is sacred. I will listen. I will hold space for you. I offer: birth preparation; exploration of fears arising around labour and birth; holding and honouring birth trauma and/or lost birth dreams; celebrating your unique labour and birth story; inviting and marking the transition to motherhood; honouring your journey as mother. It would be a great privilege to walk this path of motherhood beside you! Can meet in person or online!
