This is a short writing that arose in my last Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training. The first year of our training also happened to be the first year of Covid, and fortunately our sessions always seemed to be when windows of movement opened up. Yet, this last session was only available as an online option. As you can imagine there was loss: loss of being in the same energy field of our teachers, and loss of being able to practice and touch in during an exchange of sessions with fellow students. This is a piece written in response to that loss.
There’s something the body misses or forgets in the not being touched intimately; as a result, I think many of us are forgetting our own physicality, our need for intimacy and longing and belonging. This fear that is pervading our humanity is undermining our humanity, and I won’t have anything to do with it! We are beautiful, you are beautiful, each one of us is beautiful, and deserve to be held in that beauty as that beauty! Thank you for reminding me to see and feel and know the beauty of my humanity as it is! The greatest gift we can give each other is to remember that we all share the same origins, we are all of the same spark and only as a result of conditioning do we appear as different. So let me love you as you are!!! Simply beautiful!
